Tudor Farmhouse Hotel

Set in the tranquil village of Clearwell in the Royal Forest of Dean is the Tudor Farmhouse Hotel and Restaurant. A converted farm dating from the 13th Century, the hotel has 20 well-appointed double and family-sized rooms, all en-suite, some with four-poster beds and Jacuzzis. We are just a five minute walk from Clearwell Castle and have some of Britain’s most picturesque and secluded countryside on our doorstep. The Royal Forest of Dean and Wye Valley are around us and Monmouth, Chepstow, Gloucester and Ross-on-Wye are easily reached.

Our intimate restaurant offers fine dining with a menu based on the seasons and the fantastic local produce available in our region. The AA have recognised our food by giving us a two rosette restaurant award. We offer comprehensive facilities for meetings and small conferences and private parties can be catered for. We pride ourselves on our friendly service and look forward to welcoming you to our hotel and restaurant.

The hotel is owned and run by Hari & Colin Fell, who live on site with their son Matthew. This blog will give you more information on the life at the hotel, our local suppliers and the characters who make each day different and fun!
